Helping students see what’s possible—and how to get there.
A 36-week, year-round experience for middle and high school students, CCR provides the structure, guidance, and exposure young people need to take their next step with confidence.

What We Do
→ Mentorship that Stays Consistent Students are paired with trusted mentors who meet with them regularly—building relationships rooted in accountability, encouragement, and real guidance.
→ College Exploration That Makes It Real Students visit regional campuses like the University of Louisville, Kentucky State and Bellarmine University, as well as out-of-state schools, engaging directly and seeing what’s possible.
→ Career Pathways & Skilled Trades Exposure We introduce students to a full range of options, including skilled trades and technical careers. Through hands-on exposure and conversations with professionals, students begin to understand what different paths require, and what they can lead to.
→ Practical Skills for Real Decisions Workshops focus on the things students often don’t learn elsewhere: financial aid and FAFSA completion, scholarship applications, resume building, interview skills, and goal setting. Students leave with tools they can actually use.

Who We Serve
Annually, we serve 60 high school students from more than 25 zip codes across Louisville, with a strong concentration in and around the West End. Many are first-generation college aspirants navigating postsecondary pathways without access to consistent guidance, mentorship, or exposure to college and career opportunities.
